Gail Emms is a former Olympic Silver medal winning Badminton player at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. World Champion in 2006 and Two time Commonwealth Gold Medalist.
In this episode we go into her journey in the sport of badminton, being a single minded athlete as opposed to a team based athlete. How she nearly gave it all up at one time only to then have her passion being reignited, coming out of your comfort zone to achieve success, the commitment of an olympian, competing against men, women in sport, transitioning out of sport and some areas to focus on.
